The Centre for Legal Innovation (CLI) is delighted to announce and congratulate its inaugural Innovation Incubator 2020 (Australia and New Zealand) participants:

“The standard of the applications was very high – it is amazing and inspiring to see so many firms/organisations invested in doing things differently in and for the legal industry. We have 16 outstanding projects in our inaugural incubator from all around Australia and New Zealand. I can’t want to see how these will evolve under the guidance of our specialist coaches over the next 12 months” said Terri Mottershead, Executive Director, CLI.

“We are incredibly grateful to our specialist coaches Anu Briggs, John Chisholm, Jan Christie, Amanda Fajerman, Nyk Loates, David Wells, and Anthony Wright for donating their time. I know it is going to be a once in a life time opportunity for participants to work with them. These coaches have a wealth of ‘real life’ experience to share and are excited about being able to do just that – the group coaching circles are going to be fabulous! Huge thanks again to our coaches and also to another group of amazing people for acting as my fellow judges of the applications – thank you Katrina Gowans, Melissa Lyon, SJ Price and Katherine Thomas.”

Applications for the inaugural incubator program were sought from law firms, legal departments, ALSPs and community legal centres located in Australia and New Zealand in four areas: multidisciplinary workforce, collaborative culture, redefining value and championing change.
