On 25 August 2020, Rolf Behrens, Solutions Specialist, Relativity demonstrated the Relativity platform that brings the entire e-Discovery process together in a single solution.

Corporations are often issued with notices to produce documents from ASIC, ACCC, APRA and other government regulators. The notices specify the criteria of what is to be produced, often including keywords, terms, people and date periods, and with a 2 week response timeframe.

More and more organisations are using Microsoft Office 356 for emails, OneDrive, SharePoint etc. Some IT departments do not have resources to be able to retrieve the information to respond to these notices, let alone deliver the information to the lawyers in time to review before the delivery deadline has passed.

Relativity recognised this challenge and deliberately built its solution to this issue in the Microsoft Azure cloud environment to take advantage of the scalability and network speeds.

It has built applications to seamlessly collect data directly from Office 365, process and prepare the information for review, all in one Simply Powerful User Interface. Once the review has been completed, the relevant documents can be exported and produced to the regulators.
