Do we still remember pre-ChatGPT? In 2023, we experimented. In 2024, we’ll go deeper on the verticals – implementation, evaluation and ROI. In 2025, the ubiquitous use of generative AI and the democratisation of legal knowledge will redefine the value proposition for the legal industry and every aspect of what’s required to create it!
These are big statements. They also point to a time line that is short and urgent. We need to know more to do more with this tech and, we don’t have to do it alone - that’s what the Legal GenAI Clinic (LGAIC) is all about.
Brought to you by the Centre for Legal Innovation (CLI) in collaboration with Dr. Mitchell Adams, CLI Distinguished Fellow in Emerging Technologies and LLB Course Director, Swinburne Law School, Swinburne University of Technology, we’ve created a global platform to focus on legal GenAI in action.
This Clinic is YOUR place to share experience and use cases, learn, and connect. It will bring a whole bunch of expertise to the table. Everyone is welcome. The sessions are very informal.
You can become a member of the Clinic for free here – this is also the only place we post the recordings from the Clinic sessions. We do ask that you register for each session and you’ll find the dates, times, topics and registration details below.
Here are the dates for the Legal GenAI Clinic sessions in 2025 between 1pm – 2pm (Melbourne/Sydney time):
- Tuesday 4 March
- Tuesday 13 May
- Tuesday 8 July
- Tuesday 9 September
- Tuesday 11 November
